Biesse and Massivit 3D sign a technological partnership as the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs makes an official visit to Israel.
As the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio made an official visit to Israel today, the Biesse signed a technological and commercial agreement with Massivit 3D Printing Technologies, a leading supplier of 3D printing solutions in large volumes.
During his visit the minister met the Italian Ambassador in Israel, Gianluigi Benedetti, and the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabi Ashkenazi, for a series of bilateral agreements on scientific, cultural and economic cooperation.
The scientific, industrial and commercial agreement between the Biesse and Massivit was signed by Roberto Selci, CEO of the Biesse, and Erez Zimmerman, CEO of the Israeli start-up Massivit, with the support of Roberta Anati, founder and CEO of the AdlerInlight Technology Observatory. The collaboration will be with a view to use and marketing of 3D printers in large sizes in the technological material sector, and shared development of sustainable, state-of-the-art materials, facilitating advanced new hybrid production solutions for various sectors – motor, maritime, compound materials, furnishings, construction and aerospace.
This synergy began with the Open-I project, the Biesse's recently launched innovation lab. It took shape thanks to collaboration with the AdlerInlight Technology Observatory, which was set up in Israel to bring together industry and innovation in Italy.
