Biesse has earned two important recognitions: «Italy’s Best Employer» and “Deloitte Best Managed Companies”
Biesse, an international company that produces systems and machinery for the machining operation of wood, glass, stone, metal, plastic and composite materials, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, is proud to have been awarded the "Italy’s Best Employer" certificate by Statista and Corriere della Sera. Founded in Pesaro in 1969 by Giancarlo Selci and with 4300 employees all around the world, Biesse ranked in 5th place in Italy in the "mechanics and systems" sector, with 7.71 points. The ranking determined by Statista, a German company that gathers and interprets economic data, in collaboration with Corriere della Sera, studied the characteristics of over 3000 companies in Italy in order to identify those in which workers are happiest. It did so through a questionnaire given to 22,500 employees. The first question was an overall evaluation of their jobs, from zero to ten. The second question was "Would you recommend it to a relative?". The 400 finalist companies obtained evaluations ranging from 6.89 to 9 points.
Biesse is, furthermore, the winner of the fourth edition of the “Best Managed Companies” Award established by Deloitte Private as part of the initiative supported by ALTIS Università Cattolica, ELITE (a program of the Italian Stock Exchange that supports the growth and development of companies with high potential), and Confindustria. Biesse, according to Deloitte, is among the Italian companies that have most distinguished themselves for their strategy, competence, innovation, company commitment and culture, governance and performance, internationalisation, and sustainability.
“They're able to swim upstream, increasingly project the company into international markets, invest in technology and innovation, and are focused on growth. And they've already adapted their business models to the new paradigms imposed by the Next Generation EU, from digital technology to sustainability, as well as company culture." The 74 Best Managed Companies (BMC) correspond to this identikit and were presented with the award yesterday as part of the Deloitte Private initiative supported by ALTIS (Alta Scuola Impresa e Società [Higher Education Business and Society] of the Università Cattolica), Elite (a network and private market of the Euronext Italian Stock Exchange Group which connects companies to various sources of funding in order to accelerate their growth), and Confindustria. As a winner of every edition of Best Managed Companies, Biesse was awarded the status of Gold Company.
