The Biesse meets the University of Urbino
Fifty students from the Faculty of Economics visited the Pesaro plant and the new Group showroom.
Strengthening links between the academic world and the world of work by sharing strategies and stories of success and combining them with classroom theory. This was just one of the aims behind the meeting of a group of students who are studying for a degree course in Economics and Company Management led by Prof. Tonino Pencarelli and Biesse S.p.A., represented by Raphaël Prati, Group Marketing and Communications Director.
During the afternoon, the students took part in a demo of machinery on display in the recently refurbished areas of the new 5000 square metre company showroom, something the Pesaro plant is particularly proud of, which was recently the venue for the latest edition of bInside attended by over 2500 people from 40 different countries. Attention then focused on the production line with a factory tour which showed the various Biesse machine technologies and assembly processes.
The afternoon ended in the company Business Center with a seminar entitled “The value of consistency in global and local marketing” with full immersion in the Group's communication and marketing strategies. Concepts which are often theoretical such as innovation, technology and consistency were expressed in the planned actions, processes and goals reached which have contributed, together with the hard work of all the other company departments, to achieving the positive Group results for the current year.
